The Timer is for your convenience, you can set up a specific date to start your advertisement.

For your security, a session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity and after 12 hours at the latest. Changing your password or ending sessions under “Security” also signs you out there. Just sign in again.

To upload images for your Ad at first write the name of your image e.g. "room1" or "bathroom".
Then select picture to upload.
Click on the "Browse" button and select "All Files (*.*)" in the drop down menu, so that all of your image files are viewable. Locate and select the image you want to upload from your hard drive, and then click on the "Open" button.
The file size of your image may not exceed 100 KB (kilobytes).
The size of your image may not be greater than 450x338 Px (pixel).
For more images, repeat these steps.
You may upload a maximum of four images for your Ad depending on your account type.
You may delete a photo by clicking on the "delete image" next to the thumbnail.
The first image you upload will be the thumbnail picture for your Ad.

If you send a picture bigger than 450x338 Pixel, the system automatically will reduce the size and in the same way the quality of your picture.
This procedure reduced the time of illustration and gives us more costumer satisfaction.

The map in our System gets created automatically. we using your Address details to create the link in Google Maps. At the moment this feature is
free available to our costumer. It is very important that your address is in all details correct. Please check after you set your ad online that Google map is finding the right address.
This feautre is not part of the contract with Studyaccommodation GbR. We holding us the option open to change or to delete this feautre from our website.

You are entitled to register only one time for the basic account.
The basic account is created for students who are looking for people to take over there lease or looking for a flat mate. If you
are not a student, you can testing our service via the basic account with a duration of 14 days. If you are satisfied, you can upgrade to a standard or premium account.

That’s our two-factor sign-in. Even if someone knows your password, they can’t get into your account without access to your inbox. The code is valid for 10 minutes and works only once.

No. Tick “Trust this device for 30 days” at the code step and you won’t need a code on that device for 30 days. You can remove trusted devices any time under My account → Security. Don’t use this on shared or public devices.

Click “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page and enter your email. You’ll get a link valid for 60 minutes. After setting a new password you’ll be signed out on all devices for security. We never send passwords by email.

We store passwords only as Argon2id hashes, never in plain text. Your name, address, phone and email are stored encrypted in our database. The connection is always secured with HTTPS. No tracking, no ad cookies.

Someone knows your password. Change it right away under My account → Password (or via “Forgot password?”). All other sessions are ended automatically. The security log shows recent sign-ins.

Under My account you’ll find “Download my data” (a JSON file with everything we store) and “Delete account”. Deleting removes your account, listings, photos and logs immediately and permanently.

Under My account → Email address. Enter the new address and your password. We send a confirmation link to the new address; it only takes effect after you click it. Your old address is notified for security.
